Registration closed (event held) for this Saturday’s standard tournament. Check the forum Friday to see if and when we play. The calendar has been updated with this month’s schedule, which features only standard tournaments and the Alara Rebord prerelease.

Registration closed for this month’s limited event! Usually, on a month without pre/release events, we just draft the latest block. Mircea proposed we play backdrafting this time. He first came up with the idea during the EDH vs. T1 debate last winter. Let’s hear what you think about that on the forum! And if registration goes well, we’ll announce specifics this Friday.

Registration closed for this Saturday’s extended tournament. Dust those extended decks, because they’ll see a lot more action from now on! With an extended tournament every month, you should think seriously about having a permanent extended deck. Of course, it’s always nice to bring a surprise and curve the meta-game. Will you? Registration closed for this week’s tournament: our first drafting of Conflux. Many say the format should be ALA/ALA/CON due to Conflux being just an expansion, but those of use who want more and more Conflux picks would go for ALA/CON/CON. Cast your vote on the forum poll, and we’ll see Friday at 16:00 what and where we’ll play!

UPDATE: Well, this week we’re playing ALA/CON/CON. We’re playing in Amnesia Crem Caffe, gathering around 11:30, and we open the boosters around 12:00. If anyone is going to show up incognito, remember the location rules: every person needs to spend at least 15 lei at the bar. Also remember the registration fee for the draft is 45 lei (the price of 3 boosters). There is no prize support for this draft.

Due to popular request, we’ve scraped the Standard tournament planned for this weekend and replaced with this… well, you know now. Unlike every other tournament before, however, this one’s organization scheme is a bit more complicated. Read on to see how it goes. Or you can skip and just go register.

I know many of you won’t be “available” this Saturday due to the mass loving marketing corruption event, but I guess for the schedule’s sake it’s worth a shout: some of us are playing this Saturday! Yes, please, bring your love along and play make a team, if you want to! Let’s hear about those teams on the forum, just to know if it’s worth showing up with 2HG decks Saturday.

Much anticipated, like any new set or expansion for that matter, the Conflux pre-release happens tomorrow world-wide! It’s a great thing that we can share this along with millions of planeswalkers world wide: ripping open the first booster packs of Conflux and playing with the new cards for the first time!

If you’re a keen observer of the Calendar of Events you most probably already know that we’re having a Conflux Prerelease party in schedule for the end of January. Also in schedule for the beginning of the year: find alternative places to host tournaments; get more people to become planeswalkers and join us in tournaments.
