Jace vs. Chandra

Did you go ahead an pick-up the Jace vs. Chandra Duel Decks yet? Lex Copy Center has them in stock since Friday, November 7 when the set launched. I’ve had the chance to check out the decklist of each of the packs and I’ve got to admit they’re awesome.

There’s a couple of things also like about this Duel Decks release. First, their special artwork for the a few new spells, which makes the release genuinely collectible. I especially love what they did with Counterspell and Incinerate. Indeed Kev Walker’s take on the new Jace and Chandra artwork is a bit more cartoonish than what we’ve seen in Lorwyn, but that doesn’t make it less special. Second, what makes this Duel Decks release useful on its own is the fact that they’re providing deck containers for each of the deck. I hated the fact that my Elves vs. Goblins decks had no place of their own.
